CLUSTER AND WORKLOAD MANAGEMENT TRAINING</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Cluster Resources(TM) is offering free training on cluster and workload
management <BR>during the last week of August. One day classes will be
held Monday Aug. 22 <BR>through Friday Aug. 26 via VNC/Teleconference sessions
and will cover topics such <BR>as sources of cluster productivity loss, holistic
cluster management and end user <BR>and administrator empowerment. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Each days' training will be broken into two three-hour sessions and will
include <BR>live configuration, live troubleshooting, live demos, and
interactive usage of <BR>graphical and web-based user and administration tools
from Cluster Resources' <BR>technical team. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>To view the training agenda visit <A

To <BR>request an invitation to the conference, please email Cluster Resources'
Outreach <BR>Director at <A
href="mailto:awebb@clusterresources.com">awebb@clusterresources.com</A>.
Each class is limited to 20 people and <BR>each organization may allow as many
people as desired to attend. First preference <BR>will be given to paying
customers, but others will be invited as space allows.</DIV>

RESOURCES HOSTS EXHIBIT AT SCl05</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Visitors to the annual Supercomputing 2005 (SCl05) conference can visit
with <BR>Cluster Resources'(TM) Developers and staff and test Cluster Resources'
software <BR>live. Cluster Resources will host an exhibit at the
conference held in Seattle, <BR>Wash. Nov. 15-17 2005. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Guests can ask questions and provide feedback on Moab(TM), Maui or TORQUE
to Jackson, <BR>as well as a team of technical and product managers. The
conference gives visitors <BR>a chance to discuss unique and detailed cluster or
grid management challenges and <BR>brainstorm possible solutions with
developers. There is expected to be free <BR>evaluation copies of Cluster
Resources' software that anyone can take and use on <BR>their clusters or
grids.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Cluster Resources' booth, number 2036, is located at the south end of the
Washington <BR>State Convention and Trade Center. To learn more about the SCl05
conference, visit <BR>the Web site at <A

UPDATES</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>TORQUE 1.2.0p5 incorporates more updates from the user community and
Cluster <BR>Resources(TM) and will be released this week. The new patch provides
improved <BR>diagnostics of overall system failures and better handling of
resource failures. <BR>Users will also enjoy improved scheduling optimizations
and numerous small bug fixes.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>In the next TORQUE release, Cluster Resources will provide improved high
availability <BR>and rapid start up features. A new set of TORQUE
documentation will also be released <BR>shortly.</DIV>

GRID SUITE UPDATES</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>While the latest releases of Moab Workload Manager enables the creation of
highly <BR>manageable, flexible and scalable grids, Cluster Resources(TM) is
making grid <BR>management even easier with the new Beta version of Moab Grid
Suite(TM). The new <BR>Moab Grid Suite will include the latest release of
Moab Grid Manager, a graphical <BR>tool which allows management, analysis, and
reporting for grids. Moab Grid Suite <BR>is an extension of Moab Cluster
Suite(TM), so administrators can manage grid<BR>environments with the same ease
and exacting control that Moab Cluster Suite <BR>facilitates in cluster
<BR>environments.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>With Moab Grid Suite, organizations will be able to create virtual private
clusters <BR>that can enable account based resource access controls for grid
workload. Virtual <BR>private clusters can be used for political sharing
of resources managing information <BR>so as to minimize end-user disputes and
confusion.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Moab Grid Suite also has improved configuration so administrators can
quickly setup, <BR>tune, and troubleshoot Grid environments. To learn more
about Moab Grid Suite, call <BR>a Cluster Resources representative at +1 (801)
873-3400.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV><BR>********************************************************************************<BR>DID
YOU KNOW: HIGH AVAILABILITY</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>When management nodes fail, organizations can experience significant losses
in terms <BR>of time, money, and productivity. Moab Workload Manager's(TM) High
Availability features <BR>can immediately redirect scheduling services to a
backup server to avoid downtime when <BR>such an event occurs. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>In High Availability Mode, Moab runs on a primary node and a backup node,
and actively <BR>shares configuration, state, and historical information, so if
the primary goes down, <BR>clients are automatically redirected to the backup
and it takes over with no noticeable <BR>side-effects. The backup server
will continue to schedule until the primary recovers.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
