[Moabusers] communication error ... cannot load packet size

We have just added 40 new dual-dual core opterons to our cluster. They 
are running the same kernel as our previous opterons. Showq works 
correctly from these nodes but running checknode, mdiag or showbf on 
these nodes gives the following error:

communication error vmpsched:42559 (cannot load packet size)

We are running moab-4.5.0p4 and torque-2.1.0p0.

Any ideas?
