[Mauiusers] maui doesn't start jobs with -l file=**mb

I've just switched to Maui to replace the fifo scheduler and I'm having 
an issue with jobs not started even though plenty of resources are 
available. All what the jobs that won't start have in common is that 
they are submitted with  #PBS -l file=**mb.

On all nodes I find:

So Maui seems to think that the nodes have 1mb of disk space, therefore 
stops jobs requesting 2 or more (I have reproduced this behavior). Is 
this a know behavior? Something to check in Maui.cfg? We are running 
torque-1.2.0p2 and Maui-3.2.6p13.
