[Mauiusers] XML interface to MAUI

The manual mentions an XML interface to Maui that resource managers
can use [1]. I haven't been able to find any more details on this
(though the manual says the spec should have been available in
mid-2002). I'm looking for any additional information/pointers on this
topic.
